Account opening and authorization

Open a trading account

Important: Only ECN trading accounts are currently supported in MetaTrader 5.

Demo account

You can open a Demo ECN trading account in one of the following ways:

1. If you are not registered with FXOpen, click TRY demo on the fxopen.com site, select Demo ECN and fill in the registration form.

2. If you are a registered user, log in to My FXOpen, select Add Account > Demo > ECN and fill in the account opening form.

3. To open a Demo account in the MetaTrader 5 terminal:

  • Click Open an Account on the File menu.
  • In the list of brokers, select FXOpen.
  • Select Open a demo account to trade virtual money without risk.
  • Fill in the form and select the I agree with the terms and conditions for opening an account and the data protection policy checkbox.
  • Before you click Finish, make sure to save account details.

Real account

If you are not registered with FXOpen, open eWallet first.

If you are a registered user, log in to My FXOpen, select Add Account > Trading AccountsECN (MT5) and fill in the account opening form:

  1. Accept the terms of the agreement by selecting 'I agree'.
  2. Select account currency and leverage.
  3. If you were introduced to FXOpen, enter the agent's account number (optional).

Account details will be displayed on the screen and emailed to you. Make sure to save them in a safe place.

 

Log in to a trading account

To log in to an existing trading account:

  1. Click Login to Trade Account on the File menu.

  2. In the Login window, enter login and trader password and select the server.

  3. The Save password option allows you to save the entered data so you don’t need to enter it every time you start the terminal or switch between accounts.
